| JUNIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (TRAINEE) The Junior Software Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications as directed by Team Architect to assure a coordinated delivery of e-healthcare & e-payment solutions to our corporate service clients. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: •Develop solutions and solution architecture based on the specific needs of each project. This involves participation in the project from the architecture & design through completion of the deliverable and post production stages. •Participate in determining the technologies to be used and be involved in all aspects of the application development process, from architecture to development and implementation. •Responsible for day-to-day coding for new and existing applications. •Work with other team members in meeting project goals. •Research and integrate new technologies into the solutions being developed. •Build & maintain applications using Visual Studio Team System 2005, .NET Platform 2.0/3.0, C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server 2005. •Participate in the testing of program/system modifications/package changes as well as overall systems integration testing. •Maintain a commitment to the company vision and the spirit of the organization. •Track time spent on all projects and accurately report time for billing purposes.
Technical Job Requirements •Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related faculty (Electronics or Mathematics or Actuarial Science etc) is required. First class or upper second class honours. •Strong .NET and C#/C++ (alternatively J2EE) skills are required with demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems. •Strong understanding of XML. •Commitment to automated unit and system test strategies and frameworks. •Strong understanding and command of OOA & OOP practices, UML and SOA is a plus. Communication skills: •Must have excellent communication skills, written and oral. •Must be able to interact at all levels with team members, and management staff. •Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. •Experience in agile development methodology a plus.
