co-operation. Together with its partner organisations in Asia, Africa, Latin America, Eastern
Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, ICCO works towards a world without poverty and
injustice. ICCO's partner organisations comprise local church-based and secular, nongovernmental
development organisations who stimulate people to create a just and save
living environment for themselves and for others.
ICCO has worked throughout Sudan for many years with a range of partner organizations.
ICCO funded projects and undertook lobby and advocacy and more recently started
systematically investing in capacity building of civil society in Sudan and in programme
management. To support this ICCO has established a field office for Sudan. This office is
currently based in Nairobi and Juba.
To support the ICCO Field Office in Juba - Sudan we invite qualified candidates to apply for
the position of:
OFFICE MANAGER – JUBA.
Duty station: Juba, with occasional travel to field locations.
Duration: 1 year renewable depending on funding availability.

Requirements:
• Relevant education in Administration, Social work or Human resources Management.

• Highly ethical attitude towards work

Japan International Volunteer Center (JVC) is an International NGO, managing an automotive workshop in Juba. In collaboration with Sudan Council of Churches(SCC) and UNHCR Juba Sub-office, our main objective is to carry out maintenance of UNHCR vehicles, as well as providing skill training for returnees.
JVC Juba office is currently inviting applicants from qualified Sudanese nationals for the following post:
Post Title: Driver/Mechanic (1 position)
Duration: 4 month contract (renewable depending on the performance)
Duty station: Juba, Southern Sudan
Roles and responsibilities
Act as driver including day-to-day vehicle maintenance
Performs minor repairs
Procure spare parts and other supplies from dealers in Juba
Transport of international personnel from/to their accommodation
Delivery of invoices, documents and other items
Qualifications
Valid Sudanese Driver’s License and knowledge of driving rules and regulations
Must be a Sudanese citizen
A minimum of three years professional driving experience with a safe driving record
Experience or vocational training in auto maintenance and repair
Must understand and speak English and local Arabic language

World Vision Africa Relief Office wishes to urgently recruit highly competent, proactive and self-driven people to fill the following positions within the organization.
PROJECT OFFICER – REGIONAL SUPPLY CHAIN UNIT (ARO/RSCU/003)
Purpose of Position: To provide facilitation, support and coordination services to the Regional Supply-Chain Coordination unit (RSCU). Also to provide support in planning, monitoring and reporting of project’s progress. The incumbent is responsible for project administration and supporting RSCU learning and capacity building initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collate research information
Receive and collate research information from the second-generation pilot and volunteer countries working with the RSCU.
Liaise with the Regional Finance and East Africa Audit management on data analysis for the period FY06/07 for both the first generation and second-generation countries. Collate data, assist in analysis and final reporting of results
2. Project and Administration Support
Management of the RSCU resource center to ensure that all reports from all projects below are properly filed and available to all teams working with the RSCU for the period FY07/FY08 period. (RSCU, OFSTP, Global Supply-Chain Advisory Council (GSC), OFSTP teams working in the pilot National Offices, Project Coordinators and Team-Leaders).
Coordinating team schedules, travel & meetings
Give general support to the RSCU and handle team HR related issues in liaison with ARO HR/Administration Officer and the Partnership Office.
· Participate in project design, implementation and evaluation.
· Assist in organizing learning and capacity building events.
· Work with finance staff in completing expense reports for RSCU so as to ensure project spending is in line with existing budgets.
· Prepare monthly reports for the RSCU for submission to the Region.
3. Linkages
As communications point person for the RSCU, send regular up-dates as provided by the Regional Supply Chain Advisor and OFSTP.
Prepare and circulate quarterly Newsletter for the RSCU.
Represent the team in Inter Agency Initiatives and UNOCHA collaborative forums and feedback to group.
Contribute towards forming effective cross-functional linkages between RSCU and different groups.
· Participate in assessments when required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The following knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal schooling, self-education, prior experience, or on-the-job training:
Diploma in Business Administration
3 years experience working in busy administration environment.
Excellent communication (Oral and written) skills with fluency in English (French would be an advantage).
Excellent coordination skills and Program experience
Clean driving License
Strong knowledge and experience in using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
A mature Christian and sensitive to needs of marginalized populations.
A team builder committed to the transfer of knowledge.

Job Title Roving MHC (Maternal and Child Health) Supervisor
Job Location Juba (25%), with extensive travel in South Sudan (75%)
OVERALL DESCRIPTION
General Description of the Program
GOAL first started working in South Sudan in the mid 1980, originally through short term emergency intervention.
GOAL South Sudan currently has 3 programme sites Twic County, Warrap, Kurmuk County, Southern Blue Nile and Malakal and Sobat in, Upper Nile State.
At these sites GOAL South Sudan operates public health programmes activities include curative primary health care, based on the management of 28 primary health clinics; preventative health care including HIV/AIDS messaging, malaria control and hygiene promotion; nutrition and food security, water and sanitation engineering and clinic construction/rehabilitation.
General Description of the Role
The Roving MHC Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the PHC coordinator and the Assistant PHC Coordinator in the overall management of the Maternal & Child Health (MCH) components of the PHC programme, including all aspects of RH and STI management. This position demands excellent MCH knowledge and strong ability, desire and competence to coordinate and teach to the staffs who manage the MCH programme in health facilities within a rural primary health care setting. The incumbent must have good management, interpersonal and analytical skills and ability to report accurately. In the execution of duties it is expected that the role will require extensive travel within South Sudan.
Key Duties
· Support the implementation of the MCH component in all areas of operation;
·1 Ensure that relevant MCH MOH policies, protocols and guidelines are implemented;
·2 Ensure that GOAL MCH staff work in partnership with the local counterpart (community midwives/TBAs);
·3 Assess the training needs of the health staff involved in MCH in all areas of operation and address the needs with appropriate inputs;
·4 Support the Assistant PHC coordinator in evaluating the MCH component of the PHC programme in all areas of operation;
·5 Ensure effective communication and coordination within the MCH staffs;
·6 Ensure correct MCH reporting from all areas of operation;
·7 Provides input into PHC programme planning in order to improve the quality of the MCH services provided;
·8 Assist in HIS data collection;
·9 Provide proposals and reports as required;
·10 Travel frequently to all areas of operations to support the PHC teams.
Requirements (Person Specification)
· Qualified Midwife
· Relevant courses (such as EmOC)
· Previous experience in MCH/RH programmes with international organisations/agencies
· Sudanese nationality with previous working experience in Southern Sudan
· Staff management experience and good inter-personnel skills
· Fluent in spoken and written English
· IT literate
· Report/proposal writing skills
· Very enthusiastic and keen to travel and work extra hours to achieve the objectives of the programme

5. Regional Director

The Regional Director’s primary responsibility is to provide outstanding and dynamic leadership and management of the International Rescue Committee’s Horn and East Africa region (Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, Chad, Kenya, and Uganda). The Regional Director is responsible for aiding in the development and monitoring of country program strategic plans that are consistent with the International Programs Departments’ Strategic Plan. He/she is responsible for ensuring that the HEA’s programs are designed and implemented in a manner consistent with the IRC’s Program Framework programming model. He/she is responsible for outstanding human resource and financial management. The Regional Director is expected to be an outstanding communicator and team leader, and play a constructive role in managing the relationship between the country programs and the IRC’s regional and international headquarters. Finally, the Regional Director is expected to be a leader in moving forward agency-wide initiatives such as the IRC’s current branding initiative and increasing the profile of the agency’s advocacy work.
The HEA region is one of the IRC’s largest and most complex regions in terms of budget, security issues, geo-political and programming scopes. The region also has several advocacy priorities for the IRC within the region, and the RD is responsible for ensuring advocacy plans are drawn up and moving forward.
The Regional Director will be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Regional Director will be required to travel regularly to regional sites to conduct programmatic and operational evaluations as well as to participate in strategic planning sessions and regional meetings.
As a member of IRC’s senior management team, there will also be a need for planned travel to NY and Europe for strategic discussions and the fortification of links with the IRC staff as well as donor representatives.
